What is TABE?
The Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is a diagnostic assessment tool. It is widely used to evaluate an individual’s skills and knowledge in reading, math, and language. It is incredibly beneficial for students transitioning out of traditional schooling who need to know exactly where their academic gaps lie before starting the GED.

TABE is not a curriculum or a diploma itself; it is the blueprint. If a student has fallen behind, the TABE test identifies exactly which foundational concepts need attention. Many Namibian tutor centers use TABE as an entry requirement to place students in the correct bridging program before they tackle GED-level work.
